I am a mum of two beautiful boys. I always knew I wanted to be a mum, and was so overjoyed when I had my first baby. But, I was also extremely unprepared for the sheer exhaustion of having a baby who struggled to sleep at night, woke multiple times and cried lots!
I was overwhelmed and exhausted, both mentally and physically. My baby was also exhausted – napping lots in the day to recover from being awake all hours at night! It's at this point when I truly appreciated how important sleep is for every aspect of life!
I tried all sorts of techniques, read lots of baby sleep books, learnt lots about the science of baby sleep and the why’s, the what to do, and the what not to do. Finally, I found a solution which worked – combining the science of baby sleep and implementing it with the nurturing heart of a mum. I started helping friends and family with their baby sleep, and have not looked back since.
